Deborah Payne

This silent bond
pulls our feet to the earth
keeps coffee in our cups
makes the leaves
fall in autumn and
draws me to you.

Deborah Payne is a native of Berea, Kentucky. She plays the fiddle and sings with the band Sugar Tree, a trio of women known for their dynamic harmonies.
